Materials: bobbin lace, other used lace, fabrics
6 female silhouettes
The collection is based on recycling and handicrafts (bobbin lace). Every element is a unique composition of lace found in various places: second-hand shops, and the homes of grandmothers and aunts. This results in six unique dresses. Inspiring new values into rejected materials and new meanings to those of a different purpose, and the combination of the old with the new are all certainly vested with potential. Craft becomes a protest against mass production, and the individual character of a product – an objection against consumerism.
