Materials: natural leather, nautical and climbing ropes
Dimensions: 10 female silhouettes
Two contradictory ideas related to the personal space of the individual, namely a departure from the body and body bindings were the starting point for the project. Seeking inspiration, the designers focused on protective wear used in combat and for sport which resulted in the choice of material: full-grain and split leather. Rescaled leather coats expand the borders of privacy while the use of ropes, knots, and harnesses (including riding accessories) in the bottom sections of the garments and decorations makes references to the binding of the body.
