The project was inspired by a question about the use of objects which do not conform with the intention of the creator and the object itself in Roland Barthes’s essay The Death of the Author. The set of items that have been created encompasses elements made of various materials, devoid of names, with nondescript functions that form a particular alphabet of properties: heavy / flat / long / empty / flexible. The potential vested in the forms, materials, and dependencies between them provokes the recipient to seek applications on their own.
