Magdalena Majnusz, faculty: DOMESTIC DESIGN

Tutors: Jarosław Hulbój (Domestic Design), Dawid Wiener (Psychology)
Material: wood from Polish trees (walnut, cherry, steamed beech, plum tree)

A set of accessories for the table (a chopping board, a board with a mortar, a cylinder, little rollers for cutting out patterns, and boxes and blocks with patterns to act as mats for hot pots) that brings together the holiday and the everyday, the traditional and the contemporary. Traditional methods of woodworking are combined with craft production of food. The designer offers an alternative to general customs and schemes, and offers accessories that will prompt the user to have fun with food, and consequently inspire them to become familiar with the environment in which he or she lives.
