The designer asked herself the question whether one needs to use a knife and fork and whether cutlery is not an artificial barrier made to civilise the activity of eating. To answer this, she arranged a meal that was to stimulate the senses of its participants, and observed the gestures and interactions. This provoked the construction of a set of ceramic objects whose form provokes the use of fingers instead of cutlery, to allow a better reception of the qualities of the meal thanks to sensory information on its temperature and texture coming through the skin.
