Light-Based Alarm Clock

This light-based alarm clock offers an alternative to traditional sound-based devices. It was designed for users with varying sensory sensitivities, including those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The device promotes sleep hygiene by using gradually intensifying blue light to suppress melatonin production, facilitating a gentle wake-up experience. The screen-free design minimizes light emission at night, helping maintain a healthy circadian rhythm. Operation is intuitive, featuring a mechanical hand to set the alarm and a touch-sensitive rim to turn it off. During the day, the device serves as a concentration-boosting lamp.

The project follows a user-centered design approach, emphasizing accessibility, simplicity, and sensory comfort.

Graduation 11

Publishing the catalog is always a special moment for us. It is not only a symbolic farewell to the graduating class but, above all, a record of the meeting of the "head"—acquired knowledge—with the "heart"—emotions and meaning. In this year's publication, we have collected 80 diploma projects that serve as the best showcase of our graduates.
