The Gender of Type
A zine that exposes the stereotypes embedded in typography. The project is built on the premise that type is never neutral—it shapes our visual world and often reinforces unconscious gender assumptions.
The publication investigates how letterforms sustain cultural constructs of femininity and masculinity. It prompts readers to critically examine visual language and its impact on societal norms. By combining research, observation, and typographic experiments, the zine poses a provocative question: Do letters have a gender, too?
Graduation 11
Publishing the catalog is always a special moment for us. It is not only a symbolic farewell to the graduating class but, above all, a record of the meeting of the "head"—acquired knowledge—with the "heart"—emotions and meaning. In this year's publication, we have collected 80 diploma projects that serve as the best showcase of our graduates.
Part of collection „Graduation 11. Eighty stories of design”.
