Agnieszka Jacobson-Cielecka is the co-creator of the School of Form curriculum.

She is an exhibition curator, design critic, journalist, and writer, and serves as a judge for design competitions. She also sits on program committees and advisory boards for design festivals in Poland and abroad.

Her curatorial work includes numerous exhibitions of Polish design, including Unpolished, Polished Up, Moderna (co-curated with Paweł Grobelny), Polska Folk, and Materia Prima. These exhibitions have been shown at leading design festivals across Europe and at museums such as the Museum of Applied Arts Cologne (MAKK), the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest, the Design Museum in Helsinki, and the Museum of Modern Art in Bucharest. She was also the lead curator of Common Roots. Design Map of Central Europe, an exhibition commissioned by Design Museum Holon in Israel.

Since 2020, she has led the “Looking Through Objects” project in collaboration with Gian Luca Amadei of the Royal College of Art. The project documents how women designers have helped shape the Polish design scene over the past 20 years. It includes the traveling exhibition Looking Through Objects, which has been shown in Estonia, Poland, and Belgium, and Design Stories—a program of lectures, conferences, discussions, and interviews held at venues across Europe.

She also curates “Dress to Impress,” a project that reconstructs medieval garments worn by dignitaries in Christian Nubia, based on wall paintings from Faras. The reconstructions were created as part of the interdisciplinary project “Costumes of Authority. The Image of Royalty and Clergy in Christian Nubia,” in collaboration with archaeologists from the University of Warsaw. In 2025, the project received an award from Poland’s Minister of Science and Higher Education for best implementation. It has been presented at the Louvre in Paris, the Bode Museum in Berlin, the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, and the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden, as well as at the University of Vienna, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, and SOAS University of London.

In 2007, she received the Editor-in-Chief of the Year award from Media i Marketing magazine. In 2012, she received the Animator award at the DesignAlive Awards.
